P.A.D. represents a cause, not a team!
(For Children Ages 5-14)
MISSION:
Every player shall commit to non-violence and promote
safety and domestic violence prevention and awareness in the community.
Players Against Domestic Violence also known as P.A.D. is a new program hosted by Manifesting Dreams, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing about awareness and prevention that will educate, transform, and rebuild the self image of individuals who have experienced domestic abuse. P.A.D. works with children ages 5-14 that are involved in community sports. Co-founders, Vincent Hamilton and Jackie Murray use their educational and coaching backgrounds to educate players about domestic abuse, anger management, and self-esteem. P.A.D. is committed to creating players that are dedicated to the cause and display a positive team spirit in the community one player at a time.
P.A.D. strives to enlist partners and develop relationships with others in the community to bring about domestic violence awareness and prevention. In addition, we build strong support systems by recruiting businesses and volunteers to join us on our journey of helping players to become a positive influence in the community.
